Bamboo is a grass (renewable rosource) and has been used as a textile for 1000′s of years, using a process similiar to viscose or rayon manufacture and was invented by Samuel J Courtauld in 1906. Bamboo fibre resembles cotton in its unspun form, a puffball of light and airy fibres.
